Have You Ever Wondered If There's a Way to
Find More of What You Want in This Life?
Well, that's my job.
I'm Blythe Donovan - a joyful life coach, motivational speaker, mom and cat lover.
My mission is to give women the love and support they need to live a purposeful and joyful life. 'Cause I believe every single woman deserves to live a life that's completely authentic and true to them.
The passion behind all of this *gestures everywhere* comes from my own personal story, where joy was not something that I came by easily.
For Years, I Thought I was Doing Everything Right
Got married - check
Had a baby - check
Became a stay-at-home mom - check
Moved to be closer to my husband's family - check
Husband cheated on me within a year of moving and forced me to pick up the pieces alone - "....um, what?!?!"
Same, girl, same.
My life has been anything but what I thought it would be. I remember all those years ago as I stared down at my first baby wrapped in my arms and realized I didn't plan any further than that exact moment. Which at the time, I was pretty okay with. My dreams were to be a mom and raise my beautiful babies.
And after being served that ex-husband sized curve ball, I sat down with myself and realized that I didn't even recognize the woman in the mirror. My entire identity was wrapped in the roles I played. Mother, daughter, wife, friend....but I wasn't sure who I was or even what I liked doing anymore.
Within a year, my life looked extremely different
I decided that creating a life that allowed me to become Blythe again while being with my kids was the move I needed to make. I went from a married stay-at-home mom to being thrown into business owner life with 15 employees. I became responsible for so many people all while navigating being a newly single mom of two young kids and living alone in a new state without any friends or family.
My days were full of to-do lists, responsibilities, and the constant pressure to show up for everyone around me. From the outside, it looked like I had it all under control, like it was picture perfect.
But the truth? Inside, I was full of rage.
Every day I told myself that this wasn't the life I was supposed to be living. That I had been wronged, that HE was the problem with my entire life. And honestly, nobody could really blame me, except for one friend.
This one friend had a knack for checking my bias. Anytime I would bring up my ex-mother-in-law, he'd make sure to reframe it by saying, "You mean your children's grandmother?"
Yeah - it was humbling.
My friend told me that the best way he knew to stop feeling sorry for himself was to serve someone else. This led me to adopt a family in Peru through my church and go serve their community for two weeks.
The people I met were literally the poorest of the poor. They lived in tiny shacks with dirt floors, no plumbing, and quite literally in the dump. It wasn't a situation that most of us would see as a blessing, but they had an indescribable joy! Their faith was so strong and they happily offered to share what little they had with us. Everyone was generous. Everyone was full of joy and excitement.
I came home with a much different outlook on life. It healed a lot of the selfish hurt I had been wallowing in, and gave me insight I hadn't had before on the true meaning of joy.
This is only a small piece of my journey. But the more I leaned into my faith and started asking myself the hard questions,, I learned to let go of the expectations that weren't mine to carry. I began to notice the stories I'd been telling myself about who I was, what I was capable of, what I deserved, and found the courage to start rewriting my story. And through it all, joy and my faith are the things that have shown me how beautiful life can be when we start leaning into our soul deep truths and the life we actually want to live.

Today, I'm a transformational life coach and speaker, helping women rediscover themselves and create lives filled with purpose, peace and joy. I've had my BA in Education and Psychology, and I am now a Certified Life Coach, a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, and a graduate of Salt And Light Leadership Training (SALLT) Class of 24. I am also a mom, wife, best friend, and the person who sees the bright light in every single person I meet.
I work with women who are ready to stop running on autopilot, let go of what is no longer serving them, and start living in alignment with who they are. When women step into their raw power and allow their souls to embrace the beauty of being exactly who they're meant to be, it not only changes their lives, but the lives of everyone around them.
I'm telling you all of this because I wasn't the woman who grew up with big life aspirations. I had never thought past being a stay-at-home mom to my two babies all those years ago. My life has thrown me curve ball after curve ball, and the thing that's held my life together is my belief in joy.
Joy isn't something that appears one day once you've crossed everything off your to-do list or because joy suddenly found you worthy. Joy and hope are two sides of the same coin. Joy is what you receive when you grab onto the glimmer of hope in your life. Joy is what happens you believe that you are worthy, blessed and important. Because you are so important to this world!
My values are made up of the lessons I've had to learn firsthand. They're the foundation of the life I've built and the heart of everything I share with the incredible women who work with me.
Authenticity: You're allowed to show up as the real, raw, messy, wonderful version of yourself.
Resilience: You've been through hard things, and proven that you come out stronger every time.
Gratitude: Even in the hardest seasons, there's always something for which we can be grateful.
Kindness: To yourself, first and foremost.
And of course...
Joy: Because you deserve a life that lights you up from the inside out!
If you've been feeling that gravitational pull and keep hearing that quiet voice inside of you telling you that there's more to life than this - I want you to know that you're in the right place.
You want to live a life that feels authentically true to you, and I can already see a path to a beautiful future, just sitting and waiting for you to claim it.
Together, we can take this journey one small step at a time.
With love and joy,
Blythe
